2015年7月8日下午，第2屆有色合金及特種鑄造技術國際研討會在上海新國際博覽中心 W4館M7會議室召開。首先，由世界鑄造組織非鐵合金委員會主席、中國機械工程學會鑄造分會特種鑄造及有色合金技術委員會主任、哈爾濱工業大學教授蘇彥慶致辭。蘇彥慶教授對這次會議的前期工作作了簡要介紹，并對參會者表示歡迎。7月8日下午會議由蘇彥慶、胡宏發教授主持。來自哈爾濱工業大學、 上海交通大學、上海大學、溫莎大學（加拿大）、臺灣海洋大學的5位學者分別作了精彩的報告。每個報告后，聽眾與報告人間都有深入的互動交流，會議代表積極提問，報告人細心解答。

2015年7月9日全天共有10個報告，分別來自9個不同的高校及研究單位：分別是Computherm 公司（美國）、清華大學、大連理工大學、中國科學院金屬研究所、華中科技大學、西北工業大學、北京科技大學、東北大學、哈爾濱工程大學。
在會議結束前，蘇彥慶教授作了總結發言。蘇教授認為ISNASCT-2的會議形式非常好，有利于領域內的專家、學者間的交流。會議剛剛舉辦兩屆，今后的路還很長，希望有色合金及特種鑄造技術研討會越辦越好，會議影響力不斷提高。
