Organized by Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES) and NurembergMesse GmbH (NM), a delegation consisted of 15 elites from Chinese die casting field set out to Nürnberg, Germany for an eight-day investigation aiming at studying the international die casting market on Jan 12th, 2014. Within the eight-day trip, the delegation made its presence on the International Trade Fair for Die Casting (EUROGUSS 2014). According to the members of delegation, the exhibition enabled them to keep updated with the most advanced technology and catch up with the latest trend of international die casting market. Apart from exhibition, the delegation also paid visits to several top-notched manufactories among European die casting field and had conversations with die casting specialists. What they have seen and experienced in eight days proved to be a great success of this

field investigation.

    On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, EUROGUSS adopted a variety of fabulous onsite events and special shows to celebrate this jubilee. Within the three-day exhibition, the delegation received the classic privileges of taking part in opening ceremony, VIP tour, interaction with renowned exhibitor, welcome banquet and farewell party. Those experiences not only enabled the delegation to perceive the top-ranking die casting trade fair more vividly, but also enlightened the members with more spirits of starting up their own die casting business.

    Factory tour was another highlight in this eight-day trip. The delegation was arranged to visit three high-ranking die casting manufactories: RIES, FRECH and WOLLIN, which were elaborately selected by the host. Furthermore, the factories also arranged round-table meetings to facilitate the discussion between the specialists from both sides. All participants found the discussion informative and rewarding.

    Since FICMES and NM decided to cooperate to form a strong combination, they consistently make contribution to the revolution of Chinese die casting industry. Particularly, they will not only organize delegation to conduct field investigations in India, North America and Japan, but also they will organize the professional exhibition solely focusing on die casting industry such as CHINA DIECASTING. CHINA DIECASTING 2014 will be held from July 22nd to 24th at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. We are looking forward to your participation.
